Dr Wong Li Beng is the Director of Preventive Dentistry in JurongHealth Campus. He practises as a Consultant Periodontist at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Medical Centre.
Dr Wong obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The National University of Singapore in 2005. He went on to pursue his postgraduate training in Periodontology and graduated with a Master of Dental Surgery in 2010. In the same year, he obtained his fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (United Kingdom). In 2012, he received the certificate of Specialist Registration with the Singapore Dental Council as a periodontist. He obtained his fellowship from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2013. Besides Dentistry, he also obtained his Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture in 2011 from the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He is a registered Acupuncturist with the TCM Practitioners Board.
Dr Wong performs a comprehensive range of non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy as well as dental implant procedures, with a special interest in preventive strategies and peri-implantitis management. He is an adjunct lecturer at the School of Health Sciences, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) and sits on the committee of the NYP Dental Hygiene and Therapy Advisory Panel. He also serves in the board of advisors for the Association of Oral Health Therapists. Additionally, he provides his services to the Military Medicine Institute of the Singapore Armed Forces as a periodontist. He is the Key Opinion Leader and Southeast Asia region trainer for Electro Medical System (EMS) piezon and airflow technology and has conducted numerous workshops for dentists both locally and overseas.
